In The Loop With The Youth… Diverse City Disciples Youth Ministry
Youth Events
 Friday, Oct. 31- Reverse Trick or Treat: By the time this letter is sent out we will have been involved in what is called reverse trick or treat. This is where we will take the youth into the community and hand out bags filled with church information, candy and a salvation tract. This is just a way to show our community that they matter to us and to God. Our goal is 200 homes.
 Saturday, Nov. 1- Costume Party: We will be having a costume party for the youth. It will be a time of showing off their clean, appropriate costumes, games, food and fun. This will be from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
 November- Boston Butt Sales: This month the youth will be selling Boston Butts for our winter trip fundraiser. The cost of the butts is $20. Please support this cause to help the youth go on this trip to receive a spiritual blessing.
 Friday, Dec. 5- Cooking of the Boston Butts.
 Saturday, Dec, 6- Pick-up and delivery of the Boston Butts.
 Friday, Dec. 19- Youth Christmas Party.
 Friday, Dec. 26- Lock in before the Xtreme winter trip.
 December 27-29- Winter Xtreme trip: This is a 3 day trip full of great Christian bands, awesome speakers, and fun.
 Volleyball Tournament: The youth and adult volleyball teams came in second place in the tournaments.
 Softball: This is for ages 15 and up. The league is in full swing right now. We will have a tournament on Saturday, Nov. 8 and Saturday, Nov. 15.

Diverse City Disciples Youth Ministry exists to help unchurched youth hear the gospel, to see and experience the unity in the body of Christ, to be touched from the teaching of God’s Word, and to whet the appetite of believers so their fruit can be tasted by others, and learn to smell the sweet aroma of worship that comes from the heart of a believer.
